Öğrencilerimiz, okul bahçesinde ve deney laboratuvarlarında, Türk bayrağının göndere çekilmesi, bahçe makasıyla bir ağaç budama, kürekle kum taşıma, el arabası ile yük taşıma, kerpeten ile kablo kesme, kriko ve forklift ile nesne kaldırma, tornavida kullanarak vida sabitleme, çekiç kullanarak çivi çakma, çiviyi keserle çıkarma, tenis oynama, tekerlekli tahta ile rampada nesne taşıma, damacana deneyi, topuklu ayakkabı, çıkrık ve makara modeli inceleme, gazoz açacağı kullanma gibi etkinliklerle hem eğlendiler hem de bu deneyimi yaşayarak kitaplarda olan bilginin dışına çıkıp, objektif bakmayı ve sorgulamayı öğrendiler.

Böylece, Çinli filozof, eğitimci ve yazar Konfüçyüs‘ün; “işitirsem unuturum, görürsem hatırlarım, yaparsam anlarım” sözünün felsefe tarihine damga vurmasının nedenini de anlamış oldular.
