TED KOCAELİ KOLEJİ 3. KİTAP HAFTASI

14-18 Ocak 2019 tarihleri arasında okulumuzda “Vicdan” temalı “TED Kocaeli Koleji 3. Kitap Haftası” etkinlikleri gerçekleştirildi. Hafta boyunca edebiyat dünyasının önemli isimleri okulumuzu ziyaret ettiler, düzenlenen söyleşiler, imza günleri, atölyeler, kitap standları ve çeşitli etkinliklerle öğrencilerimiz kitaplarla dolu bir hafta geçirdiler.

 

TED Kocaeli Koleji 3. Kitap Haftası açılışı 15 Ocak Salı günü Onur Konuğumuz gazeteci, araştırmacı, belgesel yönetmeni Sayın Nebil Özgentürk’ün katılımı ile gerçekleşti. Kitap Haftası süresince Muammer Kavazoğlu, Neşe Türkeş, Tülin Kozikoğlu, Sam Whittam, Müge İplikçi, Hülya Karaibrahimoğlu, Fatih Erdoğan, Nural Birden Akça, Miyase Sertbarut, Bahattin Erbaş ve Ahmet Ümit gibi çok değerli konuklarımız, düzenlenen söyleşi ve atölyelerde öğrencilerimizle bir araya geldi.

 

“Beyaz Baston Görme Engelliler Haftası” kapsamında farkındalık yaratmak adına ağırladığımız konuklarımız, sahnede müthiş enerjileri ile yeteneklerini sundular. Ortaokul öğrencilerimizin katılımı ile gerçekleşen etkinlikte Dilek Karaca’nın da söyleşisi ile öğrencilerimiz günlük hayatta görme engelli bireylerle nasıl iletişim kuracaklarına dair fikir edindiler. Bugüne kadar 2.500 oyuncağı yenileyerek maddi durumu yetersiz çocuklara ulaştıran konuğumuz Muammer Kavazoğlu, geçen yıl başlattığı “Atma! Tamir Olsun Çocuklara Umut Olsun!” projesi ile öğrencilerimizle bir araya geldi.

 

“İçimizden Biri ile Şiirden Resme Vicdan Serüveni” etkinliği ile öğrencilerimizle bir araya gelen Bahattin Erbaş, önce okulumuza kurulan “Vicdan” temalı resim sergisini öğrencilerimize gezdirdi.

 

Ardından öğrencilerimizle birlikte ortaokul kütüphanemizde söyleşi ve akrostiş çalışması gerçekleştirdi. Etkinliğin sonunda torunu öğrencimiz İrem Kelebek adına yazdığı şiir kitabını öğrencilerimize imzalayarak hediye etti.

 

Okul koridorlarımız “Şiir Sokakları”na dönüştü. Beyaz Baston Haftası’na dikkat çekmek ve görme engellilerle farkındalık oluşturmak adına 4, 5, 6, 7 ve 8. Sınıf öğrencilerimiz gözleri kapalı olarak vicdan temalı şiir, resim ve slogan çalışmaları yaptılar. Anasınıfı ve ilkokul öğrencilerimiz okul koridorlarımızda temamızı vurgulayan resimler çizdiler, şiirler yazdılar. 17 Ocak Perşembe günü değerli konuğumuz Sayın Ahmet Ümit’i ağırlamanın sevincini yaşadık. Ahmet Ümit öğrencilerimizle “Masal Masal İçinde” kitabı üzerine keyifli bir söyleşi gerçekleştirdi.

 

17 Ocak Perşembe günü “Kitap Karakterleri Günü- Book Characters Day” etkinliği kapsamında öğrencilerimiz okula sevdikleri bir kitap kahramanı kostümüyle geldiler. Lise öğrencilerimiz anasınıfı öğrencilerimizi ziyaret ederek “Storytelling” etkinliğini gerçekleştirdiler. İlkokul ve ortaokul öğrencilerimiz spor salonunda farklı sınıf seviyelerinden arkadaşları ile bir araya gelerek büründükleri kitap karakterlerini tanıttılar ve öğretmenleri eşliğinde tanıştıkları diğer karakterler ile ilgili kendilerine dağıtılan kitapçıkları doldurdular. Bu etkinlikle amacımız öğrencilerimizin belki de daha önce okumadıkları bir kitaba ilgi duymalarını sağlayacak bir fırsat yaratmak ve İngilizceyi kullanarak arkadaşları ile iletişim kurmalarını sağlamaktı.

 

18 Ocak Cuma günü ortaokul öğrencilerimiz 7. Sınıf öğrencimiz Yamaç Topal ve 8. Sınıf öğrencimiz Zeynep Sandık tarafından gerçekleştirilen “Betul Mardin’in Ardından” sunumuna katıldılar. Öğrencilerimiz Türkiye’nin ilk Kadın Halkla İlişkiler Uzmanı Betül Mardin ziyaretinde edindikleri deneyimlerini arkadaşları ile paylaştılar.

 

Öğrencilerimiz haftayı İngilizce öğretmenleri tarafından hazırlanan, kitap haftası ile ilgili çeşitli branşlara ait soruların yer aldığı “Quiz Show” etkinliği ile sonlandırdılar. Kitap Haftası süresince öğrencilerimiz pek çok yazar ile bir araya gelerek, kitaplar üzerine sohbet edip yazarlara kitaplarını imzalatma şansı yakaladılar. Bir sonraki Kitap Haftamızda görüşmek üzere.. Programlarda emeği geçen tüm öğretmen, öğrencilerimiz ve çalışanlarımız ile konuk olan tüm yazarlarımıza teşekkür ederiz.

    Today, I went to the beach front with my children. I found
    a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed.
    There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
    She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is totally off topic but I had to tell someone!
