TED Kocaeli Koleji, İlk Kâğıdın kokusu Seka Kâğıt Müzesi’nde!

TED Kocaeli Koleji 7. Sınıf öğrencileri için, Fen Bilimleri dersi “Karışımlar ve Geri Dönüşüm” konusu kapsamında 5 Mart Salı günü SEKA Kâğıt Müzesine gezi düzenlendi. Öğrenciler kağıt yapım atölyesinde kendi kağıtlarını yaptılar, müzede kağıt yapım sürecini öğrendiler. “Bence Bilim” etkinliği ile geri dönüşüm yoluyla elde ettikleri kâğıtları kullanarak pano hazırladılar.

Çağdaş toplumlarda müzeler, birer yaygın eğitim kurumu olarak halkı eğitmeyi hedeflemektedirler. Öğrencilerimizin müzeleri de bilgiye ulaşmadaki araç olarak görmesini sağlayarak onları “Hibrit İnsan” olma yolunda bir adım öne taşıdık.

Medeniyetin ve kültürün taşıyıcısı olan kağıtla 7. sınıf öğrencilerimizi buluşturduk. Bir sosyal dönüşüm modeli ve endüstri mirası olan SEKA fabrikasının hikâyesine tanıklık ettiler. Müzede her yönüyle kâğıdı, kâğıdın tarihini ve üretim süreçlerini keşfettiler. Karışımların nasıl ayrıldığını ve kağıt türlerini öğrenen öğrencilerimiz, kağıt yapım atölyesinde kendi kağıtlarını yapma imkanı buldular. Geri dönüşüm ile elde ettikleri kağıtlara kendilerini bir bilim insanı olarak resmettiler. Özgün bilim tanımlarıyla birlikte pano yaptılar.
