TED Kocaeli Koleji İlkokulu 1. Sınıf öğrencileri, 25 Eylül 2019 Çarşamba günü, Kartepe Uzuntarla’da bulunan Doğal Yaşam Parkı Ormanya’ya alan gezisi gerçekleştirdiler. Hayat Bilgisi dersi kapsamında yer alan “Yakın çevresinde bulunan hayvanları, bitkileri gözlemler ve korumaya özen gösterir.” kazanımı çerçevesinde düzenlenen gezide öğrenciler, doğal yaşamın korunması ve turistik amaçlı kullanımın bir araya getirildiği özgün bir model olan Ormanya’da “Vahşi Yaşam Alanı, Doğa Eğlence Alanı, Aromatik Bitki Yolu” bölümlerini keyifle gezdiler. Gezi yoluyla öğrencilerimiz, yeşili, doğayı, birçok hayvan ve bitki türünü gözlemleyerek görerek yaşayarak öğrenme imkânı buldular.
