Direktör Kapetanovic’in verdiği bilgiye göre; Richard Wagner Konservatuvarı 8 sömestr, yani 4 yıl süren lisans eğitimi ve ardından 4 sömestr, yani 2 yıl süren yüksek lisans eğitimi veren, 2009 yılında kurulmuş bir okul. Okula giriş için en az 16 yaşında olmak gerekiyor, fakat üst yaş sınırı yok. Öğrenciler seviyelerine uygun sınıfa yerleştiriliyorlar, mutlaka birinci sınıftan başlamaları gerekmiyor. Okulda keman, viyolonsel, viyola, kontrbas, gitar, flüt, yan flüt, klarnet, saksafon, fagot, trompet, korno, trombon, tuba, piyano, şan, akordeon, org, şeflik ve kompozisyon bölümleri bulunuyor. Enstrüman derslerinin yanı sıra piyano eşlik, müzik teorisi, armoni ve konturpuan, solfej ve kulak eğitimi, form bilgisi, müzik tarihi, orkestra, oda müziği, koro, şarkıcılar için İtalyanca, diksiyon, artikülasyon, elementer müzik eğitimi, pedagoji, psikoloji ve kültürel çalışmalar dersleri de veriliyor. Bütün dersler Almanca yapılıyor.
Sayın Ali Can Güzel’in verdiği bilgiye göre; Richard Wagner Konservatuvarına giriş için Türkiye’deki Üniversite Sınavında belirli bir puan almış olmak gerekmiyor. Yapılan dinletiyi kazanmak yeterli oluyor. Okula girmek için yeteneği yeterli fakat eğitimi eksik olan ve / veya Almanca bilmeyen Öğrenciler için en az 1, en çok 2 yıllık hazırlık eğitimi ve Almanca kursları veriliyor. Bu hazırlık dönemi sırasında müzik dışındaki başka bir disipline yönelmek isteyen öğrenciler okul değişikliği yapabiliyorlar.
