Dünya Fibonacci Günü Kutlu Olsun!

Fibonacci günü de aynı pi günündeki gibi bir oyunla oluşmuştur. pi günü 3.14 sayısının Mart 14 olarak okunması ile çıkmıştır. Fibonacci günü de aynı mantıkla doğmuştur. Serinin ilk sayıları alınarak tarihleştirilmiştir. 1,1,2,3,5,8 .. diye giden serinin ilk 4 rakamını bir araya getirince 11.23 çıkıyor ortaya. Yani Kasım 23. Her yıl tüm dünyada 23 Kasım tarihinde kutlanan Fibonacci Gününü, 25-26-27 Kasım tarihlerinde Okulumuzda farkındalık çalışmaları ile kutladık. 

Ortaokul Matematik Zümresi olarak, Görsel Sanatlar Zümresi ile işbirliği içerisinde, matematiğin sanat/doğa/bedenimiz ile ilişkisi açısından öğrencilerimizde farkındalık yaratmayı hedefledik. Leonardo Fibonacci 12. ve 13. yüzyıllar arasında (1170-1240) İtalya’da yaşamış bir matematikçidir. Fibonacci’nin kendi ismiyle bilinen sabit sayı dizisine Fi sayısı denmiştir. Bu sabit oran Altın Oran olarak da bilinmektedir. Altın Oran, mimariden sanata, doğada bitkilerden insan vücuduna, kasırgalardan galaksilere kadar her yerde karşımıza çıkmaktadır. 

Gün başlangıcında öğrencilerimizi Fibonacci müziği ile karşıladık. 5, 6 ve 7. sınıflarımızın Kasım ara tatil döneminde “Fibonacci Günü Nedir?” araştırmaları sonucu elde ettikleri verilerini sınıf kapılarında sergiledik. 7. sınıf gönüllü öğrencilerimiz Elif İsra Karaca, Miray Savaşan ve Zeynep Ela Bilgin liderliğinde vücudumuzdaki altın oranı bulmaya çalışırken 6. sınıf öğrencilerimiz önümüzdeki haftalarda görsel sanatlar dersinde “Altın Oran” temalı ürünlerini oluşturacak ve sanatın içindeki matematiği keşfedecekler. Matematik her yerde!
