İzmit Orman İşletme Müdürlüğünü ziyaret eden 2. Sınıf öğrencilerimiz, ülkemizdeki orman varlığının önemi ile ilgili sunum izlediler. Ormanın ve ağaç dikmenin önemi üzerinde konuştular. Orman İşletme Müdürlüğündeki bahçeye inerek fidan dikmeyi öğrendiler. Öğrencilerimiz kendilerine hediye edilen defne yaprağı ve fıstık çamı fidanlarını evlerine götürmek üzere aldılar ve artık birer orman koruyucusu oldular.
