TED KOCAELİ KOLEJİ ÖĞRENCİLERİ 1st GCC INTERCHANGE KONFERANSINDA

TED Kocaeli Koleji Özel Anadolu Lisesi GCC-Global Citizenship Club (Dünya Vatandaşlığı Kulübü) 9. sınıf öğrencileri  1st GCC Interchange Konferansına katıldı.

15-17 Mart 2019 tarihleri arasında TED İzmir Kolejinde düzenlenen 1st GCC Interchange Konferansına 9 farklı TED Lisesinden 100’e yakın dünya vatandaşı olmaya aday öğrenci katılım gösterdi. TED Kocaeli Koleji Özel Anadolu Lisesi GCC-Global Citizenship Club  (Dünya Vatandaşlığı Kulübü) 9. sınıf öğrencileri öğrencileri katılımları ve çalışmaları ile konferansta okulumuzu başarı ile temsil etmiştir.

Öğrencilerin dünya sorunları hakkında farkındalık düzeylerini artırmak ve bu sorunlara çözüm önerileri geliştirmelerini sağlamak amacıyla TED Okulları GCC Kulüp çalışmaları Eylül 2019’da başladı. TED Ankara , TED Antalya, TED Atakent, TED Bodrum, TED Bursa, TED İzmir, TED Mersin, TED Kocaeli ve TED Rönesans okullarından katılan yaklaşık 100 öğrenci yıl boyu yapmış oldukları çalışmaları paylaşmak için TED İzmir’in ev sahipliğini yaptığı konferansta buluştu. Öğrenciler sene başında kendilerine verilen dünya sorunları ile ilgili ürettikleri projeleri sundular. Daha sonra gruplar halinde verilen vakalar (case study) üzerinde çalıştılar.

TED Kocaeli Koleji 9. sınıf GCC Kulübü öğrencileri ‘Dünyada Açlık’ konusuna dikkat çekmek amacıyla bir belgesel hazırladı. Öğrencilerimiz hazırlamış oldukları belgeseli diğer GCC Kulübü öğrencileri ile paylaştı. Yapmış oldukları çalışma büyük beğeni topladı. Öğrencilerimizin etkinliklere katılımları sırasında göstermiş oldukları performanslara göre çeşitli ödüllere layık görüldüler. Gözde Seray Banabak ve Julide Tolun ‘En Yaratıcı Katılımcı’, Zeynep Akyürek ‘En Etkili Konuşmacı’, Bora Büyüksivri ‘En Başarılı Problem Çözen Katılımcı’, Selin Zeynep Aydın ve Melis Kesim ‘En İyi Müzakereci’ ödülünü almaya hak kazandı. Öğrencilerimiz Erkmen Erken, Ecem Güleryüz, Arda Avunduk, Ali Ulvi Kaplan, Ayşe Erdem, Bahriye Burçak İşçi de gruplarında etkin bir şekilde çalıştı.

Katılımcılar Birleşmiş Milletler Enformasyon Merkezi Müdürü Ahmet Parla ve Özel Olimpiyatlar Özel Sporcusu Cem Kaya’nın sunumlarını ilgi ile dinlediler. Etkinliğin üçüncü günü Boğaziçi Üniversitesi Öğretim Görevlisi Ayça Karaman tarafından yürütülen ‘Etkin Veri Analizi’ ve ‘Veri Raporlama’ başlıklı iki ayrı çalıştaya katıldılar ve uygulamalı olarak bu becerileri geliştirme olanağı buldular.

Tüm öğrenciler üç gün süren etkinlikler boyunca dünya sorunları hakkında farkındalık düzeylerini artırmış, çözüm önerileri üretmiş, akademik ortamda İngilizce konuşma ve yazma becerilerini geliştirmiştir. Dünya Vatandaşı olma yolunda çalışmalarını yürüten TED Okulları GCC Kulübü öğrencileri  iletişim ve işbirliğini ilke edinerek farklı projeler geliştirme heyecanı ile konferanstan ayrıldı.
