TED Kocaeli Koleji Özel Ortaokulu JMUN (Junior Model of United Nations-Birleşmiş Milletler Teşkilatı Modeli) Takımı öğrencileri, 14-17 Aralık 2017 tarihlerinde Hisar Okullarında, HisarJmun Konferansına katıldı.

TED Kocaeli Koleji Özel Ortaokul JMUN Takımın’dan 6 öğrenci, Hisar Okulları tarafından düzenlenen ‘Aşırılığa Karşı’ (Confronting Extremism) temalı HisarJmun Konferansında okulumuzu başarı ile temsil ettiler. UNDP (Birleşmiş Milletler Kalkınma Programı) olarak katılan öğrenciler, konferansta Siber Güvenlik Komitesi, Eğitim Komitesi, Sağlık Komitesi, Sürdürebilirlik Komitesi, Kentselleşme Komitesi ve Gençlik Komitelerinde çözüm önerilerini sunarak okulumuzu başarıyla temsil ettiler.

JMUN NEDİR?
JMUN, ortaokul öğrencilerinin Birleşmiş Milletlere üye ülkeleri ilgilendiren politik, ekonomik, sağlık,çevre vb. gibi konular hakkında tartıştıkları, çözüm ürettikleri, aynı zamanda Birleşmiş Milletlerin işleyişini öğrendikleri bir çalışmadır. Birleşmiş Milletlerin resmi tarzına sadık kalınarak yürütülen çalışma sayesinde katılımcılar, parlamento usulüne göre müzakere ve münazara yöntemini öğrenirler. Konferansta, kararların hazırlanması, tüm lobi faaliyetleri ve tartışmalar sadece İngilizce yapılmaktadır.
