TED Kocaeli Özel İlkokulunun ana sınıfı 5 Yaş grubu öğrencileri 20 Ekim 2017 Cuma günü “Meslekler” ünitesi kapsamında Başiskele Belediyesi İtfaiye Müdürlüğünü ziyaret ettiler.

Müdürlükteki ekipmanları hayranlıkla izleyen öğrencilere yetkililerce acil müdahale gerektiren durumlar anlatıldı ve yangın söndürme ekipmanları tanıtıldı. İtfaiye arabasının içine kadar giren öğrenciler, hortumla su tutma, koruyucu maske ve kask takma provaları da yaparak bu işlemleri yerinde öğrendiler ve öğrenirken de eğlenme fırsatı bulmuş oldular.
