TED Kocaeli Koleji̇ Felsefe Grubu öğretmeni ve Çocuklar için Felsefe (Philosophy for Children – P4C) uzmanı Sayın Merve Uzuner Keser, Anasınıfları velilerine, öğrencilere uygulanan P4C pedagojisi hakkında bilgi verdi, ardından birlikte bir P4C uygulaması gerçekleştirdiler.

02.11.2019 tarihinde 3 ayrı oturumda gerçekleşen etkinlikte velilerimize, çok güçlü bir sorgulama potansiyeline sahip bu yaş grubu çocuklarının potansiyellerini ortaya çıkarmaları açısından P4C uygulamalarının son derece önemli olduğu, düşünen bir varlık olarak insanın bu en temel özelliğinin küçük yaşta farkındalıkla geliştirilmesinin büyük önem taşıdığı,

P4C’nin, bir insanın tüm yaşamı ve eğitim hayatı boyunca ihtiyaç duyacağı, eleştirel ve yaratıcı düşünme yetisini geliştirdiği aktarıldı. Çocukların sorularına nasıl yaklaşmaları gerektiğiyle ilgili önerilerin ardından hep birlikte “Cömert Ağaç” öyküsü üzerinden bir P4C uygulaması gerçekleştirildi. Uygulama esnasında veliler, öğretmenimizin kolaylaştırıcılığında Ebeveyn-Çocuk ilişkisine dair derinlemesine bir tartışma gerçekleştirdiler.
